Geraint Jones

Geraint Jones

Geraint is one of the most respected figures within off road motorcycle sport in the UK, and has been involved in the dirt bike world for over 40 years. His unrivalled track record speaks for itself and includes 10 British Enduro Championships and 8 ISDE Gold medals.

Geraint is currently the ACU National Assessor and International Coach for enduros, and is the driving force behind the Yamaha Off Road Experience.

He is still actively involved in coaching, and his passion and enthusiasm for motorcycling is incredible.

Dylan Jones

Dylan Jones

Dylan is the youngest of the Jones Family and is now one of the main instructors. He has been racing bikes and teaching people to ride for many years.

His racing acheivments inlcude finishing runner up in the British 125 cc Enduro Championship, finishing in the top 6 in the European E1 Enduro Championship and representing Great Britain at the International Six Day Enduro at both Junior and Senior level winning 4 Gold and 3 Silver ISDE medals.Dylan is a fully qualified ACU commercial coach.

Rowan Jones

Rowan Jones

Rowan leanrt to ride a motorbike almost before he could walk at the age of 6 on the family farm, and has never stopped since.  Spending more than 10 years competing all over the World at the highest level wining numerous titles along the way. He has now retired from serious competion, other than the occasional outing in the Veterans class.  His achievments include British 250 4 stroke Enduro Champion and 4th in the World Junior Championship. Rowan has won numerous Gold and Silver ISDE (International Six Days Enduro) medals whilst representing both Great Britain and Wales, and was also the winner of the Bike Category in the Baja GB in 2007.

Rowan has been coaching for more than 20 years, passing on his knowledge and experience.

 

Wyn Hughes

Wyn Hughes

Wyn is one is the most respected figures in the British Enduro scene. His competitive achievments include 9 British Enduro Championships and 8 ISDE Gold Medals.

During his racing career Wyn was renowned as a mud specialist, and really excelled when the conditions got really tough.  Some say he was faster in the wet than he was in the dry!  He now loves teaching people to ride ruts!

Wyn also runs a Youth Enduro Team supporting and nurturing the next generation of enduro stars.

Kev Wallace

Kev Wallace

Kevin joined us after serving 30 years in the Armed Forces, 18 of those years with UK Special Forces in which time he has taught and ridden in countries all around the world.

Kevin has an easy going approach to teaching and has the ability to draw out the best from everyone with constant encouragement and guidance.

John Begley

John joined us after serving 22 years in the Armed Forces with the Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers in which time he has both ridden and been a mechanic for the Armed Forces Motorcycle teams.

John has a wealth of riding and mechanical experience, and also is a qualified ACU Commercial Instructor.

He is a keen trail rider in his spare time, and is a member of the Mid Wales TRF.

Martyn Lewis

Martyn Lewis

Martyn’s time is split between farming and coaching.  He is a capable Enduro rider, who in his younger days loved a bit of “bog hopping” and had a reputation for being pretty wild or brave. He is now older and hopefully wiser!

Bo Anderson

Bo Anderson

Bo spent many years riding AMCA motocross, before trying his hand at both trials and enduro in more recent years, with his most memorable achievment winning the Clubman Vets class at the biggest Enduro in the UK the Welsh 2 Day Enduro.

Bo allegedly also has the title of Yamaha Off Road Experience’s shortest instructor, but have to say it is a pretty close contest!!

Geraint is another former MX rider, who started in as a youngster in schoolboy motocross before moving into the adult ranks.  Has since retired from racing many years ago, and now gets his motorcycle fix working for YORE on the weekends.
