It's a fun day out on an off-road motorbike with some basic tuition, aimed at motorcycle riders who are looking to try out off-roading. These courses are designed for people with limited or no previous off-road motorcycle experience, although can still be an enjoyable day out for more experienced dirt bike riders where the emphasis is more on fun than serious training.You will get to ride on the thousands of acres of beautiful countryside on a wide variety of terrain from farmland, forest tracks and technical single track and amaze yourselves what you and the bikes are capable of!

Ideally all participants must be able to ride a motorcycle with clutch and gears to attend a day, although complete beginners can be catered for by prior arrangement.

Tuition is given on the basic principles of riding such as, body positioning, braking, and cornering, up hills and downhills. We supply the bikes and all the necessary safety equipment. The bikes used are all Yamaha, including WR 450F's, WR 250F's, WR 250R's, TT-R 230's and TT-R 125's.

New for last season and back by popular demand, the Offroad Experience PLUS+ is aimed at people who have already been on our Offroad Experience day and are looking for the next challenge. A day that is full of thrills and probably some spills, will take you into the heart of enduroland. You will cover miles of forest and farm tracks with all the elements of enduro, mud, rocks, ups and downs, ruts, bogs and even ride parts of the World Enduro Championship track. A more demanding day than the Offroad Experience but will reward you with new found skills and confidence. Not for the faint hearted, with fun, adrenaline and mud guaranteed! Are YOU ready for it???

The Yamaha Ténéré Experience offers you the chance to explore some of the most beautiful and rugged countryside in the UK from the seat of Yamaha’s latest class leading adventure bikes including the WR250R, XT660Z Ténéré and the stunning new XT1200Z Super Ténéré. You will also be able to come along on your own road legal dual sport/adventure/trail bike.

On arrival our team of highly experienced instructors will provide a warm welcome and introduce you to the principles of off road riding. They will then spend some time coaching you on how to tackle a wide variety of off road terrain.

You will then head off into the thousands of acres of surrounding countryside, tackling hills, river crossings, forest tracks, a small amount of public highway and lots of mud! thus giving you the opportunity to put your new found techniques into practice.

There are at least two instructors out on a day who are there to guide and advise you whenever you need it. With a maximum of ten riders in a group, there’s a high instructor/rider ratio which ensures that you really get the most enjoyment out of your day. Throughout the day riders may be split into groups of similar ability to ensure that everybody has the optimum experience.

Participants will have the choice of both one and two day tours. All riders must have a full motorcycle licence. Riders restricted to 33 KW will only be able to ride WR 250R’s.

As well as the Yamaha Off Road Experience we also run specialist 2-day Enduro Training Schools aimed at competition riders. These take place between December and February and participants can either bring their own bike or hire one of our machines. We have a limited number of WR 250 & WR 450F's available for hire. We cater for up to 40 riders with a coaching ratio of not more than 10:1. Please phone or e-mail us for details.

We also specialise in tailor made courses for Police Forces, the Services, Motorcycle Clubs, Schools and other groups wishing to undertake professional off road training. These courses can be designed to suit your individual requirements and you can either use your own machinery or our Yamaha off road bikes. They are aimed at children from 8 upwards and also suitable for adults with no previous motorcycle experience who feel the full blown off road experience is currently beyond them and would like a taster first, or those who just wish to come along with their children. We have a range of suitable Yamaha machines including PW 80, TT-R 90, TT-R 125’s and TT-R 230’s.
